FAQs

  • What are your hours of operation?

We are open from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. We are also available after hours and on weekends for emergency calls for an additional fee.

  • How much is a service call?

Our price to come out to your home and diagnose a single system is $85, no matter how long it takes. Each additional system at the same home is $60. Once we diagnose the problem, we will provide the cost of the repairs as soon as possible. Many standard repairs can be made on the same day.

  • What is your service area?

We are based in Plano and service the north DFW area, including cities such as McKinney, Allen, Wylie, Garland, Frisco, Richardson, and Dallas.

  • What kind of equipment do you work on?

We work on pretty much anything. Furnaces, air conditioners, mini splits, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, package units, high efficiency, and single stage. You name it, we will come out and take a look at it! We love to keep antiques running and are also happy to troubleshoot unique newer systems.

  • Do you have financing options?

Yes, we do have financing available for any repairs, installations, or work performed for more than $1,000 through GoodLeap. If you are interested in financing a job, feel free to give us a call or send us an email and we can get the process started.

  • How much does a new system cost?

It depends on what you need. If it is a full system replacement, the cost could be anywhere from $8,000-$20,000, depending on the size and efficiency of the desired unit. If you need ductwork or additional work, the cost could be higher. We do strive to price competitively, and part of that is performing a load calculation, which allows us to downsize the system in most cases, saving you money.

  • How often do I need to do maintenance on my HVAC equipment?

If you haven't had your system serviced since you moved into a house, haven't had it serviced in the last five years, or have a very old system, we recommend having someone come and perform a maintenance. In the first situation, we would recommend service because the status of the system is unknown. In the second case, there are parts that need to be cleaned or checked, and although you are welcome to do it each year, we are more conservative in recommending maintenance. In the final case, a very old system (15 years or older) has a much higher chance of failure, and can sometimes pose health risks to those living in the home.
